The program integrates into the windows environment and allows one-click access to file archiving and emailing.
7zip's compression algorithm can reduce file size substantially better than WinZIP and also outperforms WinRAR Files can be encrypted and password protected using the easy-to-user interface. For more advanced users, a command line interface is available. 7zip can be used to browse not-so-conventional archives like MSI and DEB files.
